Government Shutdown Response
The Board of Internal Ministries wants to be prepared to assist members and school families who have lost government food assistance (SNAP) as of November 1. The Food Pantry Team will be conducting a special appeal on the next two weekends to refill the Food Pantry fund. We will purchase extra grocery store cards through LuHi Shoppers Blessings to meet this potential need. There will be pink envelopes at the back of the church and Parish Hall for offering plate donations, or you can contribute on-line using the Food Pantry option. Any funds remaining when the government shutdown ends will be used to support our regular Food Pantry families in the future.

Thru the month of October 2025
Pledges made $607,737 Amount received (129%) $787,458 Remaining Mortgage $1,414,000
CONTRIBUTIONS REPORT - Thank you for your support of the Trusting In The Lord-3 capital campaign. Your contributions are greatly appreciated in providing for our $3 million in improvements at the church and school. Our remaining mortgage is now $1.41 million. These funds finance our monthly mortgage payment of $17,500.
Back in the fall of 2022, we received pledge cards totaling $607,737 over a 3-year period. Many did not return a pledge card but still contribute, and others are giving more than they pledged. All contributions beyond the pledged amount go toward paying down the mortgage. Thank you to all who have generously supported the financing of the addition at the church and renovations at the school. We ask for your prayers and continued financial support.
Pledges for the Trusting in the Lord – 4 campaign will be received on November 22-23 at the worship services or can be sent in anytime to the church office.
