Lenten Meal Schedule

Lenten meals will take place on Wednesdays at 5:30-6:30pm at the School Campus cafeteria. The Midweek Lenten Services will follow at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. Come support various missions at Trinity!

Join us to celebrate Jan & Richard Zepp’s 50th Anniversary!

The celebration will include a 30 minute service of blessing followed by a 45 minute concert by the Trinity Wind Ensemble. After the concert we will have time for visiting and cookies. You are welcome to join us for any or all of the event. Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2-4 PM Trinity Lutheran Church, 220 S 2nd St, Springfield. In lieu of gifts, guests may make a donation to the Trinity School band program.

Service before the Illinois Pro-Life Rally

Youth Group Lenten Meal Thank You

Thank you to everyone who attended the first Lenten Meal hosted by Trinity's Youth Group. About 150 people were served and over $650 was raised for youth group activities! Thank you!

PLEDGES STILL NEEDED – Our monthly mortgage payment is $17,500. Over the next 3 years this will equal $630,000. As shown above we are still short of that amount and our goal. If you have not made a pledge please prayerfully consider helping us meet this goal. Our remaining mortgage is $1.2 million for the improvements we made at the church and school. This is funded through the special building campaign. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.

Executive Director Position - LCMS District Church Extension Fund
Have you ever felt like your work could be more gratifying or that your business doesn’t match your values or strives for goals without meaning? That you could be devoting your skills to a higher cause?
If these questions give you pause, please give prayerful consideration to applying for the position of Executive Director of the Central Illinois District Church Extension Fund (CID-CEF), a stand-alone not-for-profit corporation located in Springfield. This position will give new meaning to your work life as you support the Mission of growing God’s Kingdom by extending loans and grants to the churches, schools, and agencies that reside within the Central Illinois District.
You will have responsibility for the operations of the CID-CEF under the direction of its Board of Trustees, including all loaning functions, internal investment operations, external investment of funds, and financial reporting, in accordance with sound business practices but with primary responsibility to the service and support of our churches and schools.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, with six to ten years of progressive management experience in a related financial environment.
