July Congregational Meeting
|
|
The congregation will be meeting on Monday July 20 at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall to review and vote on the proposed budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. Reports from leaders and officers of the church will be available in writing ahead of time.
|

Help is needed with the removal of two large tree limbs that fell at the School Campus during recent storms. We are mostly in need of willing hands to move branches once they have been cut. A few more chainsaws and a log splitter would also be helpful. Please notify Josh Woody at jwoody369@gmail.com if you can assist. We will work 1:30-4:30 pm on Sunday, July 12.

Start looking through those recipes! This is a true potluck, so bring anything - a main dish, side dish, or a dessert. Food can be dropped off at the Parish Hall any time after 9:15am, or you can bring it with you at noon.

Loss of a Spouse is a 2-hour seminar for people grieving a spouse’s death. It will be held Aug. 16, 2026 at Trinity's Parish Hall from 1-3pm. The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and widowed men and women. Read more

Starting on June 1, the school office will be open Monday - Thursday mornings from 7:30 AM - Noon. It will closed on Fridays during the summer.

Contributions Report – Thank you for your support of the Trusting In The Lord-4 capital campaign. Your contributions are greatly appreciated in providing for our $3 million in improvements at the church and school. Our remaining mortgage is down to just under $1.2 million. These funds finance our monthly mortgage payment of $17,500. Thank you again for your prayers and financial support.

Presentation in Observation of 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Pastor Bill Wrede is a pastor of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod who was serving on Long Island during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.He ministered at Ground Zero the entire day and continued to do so for the next nine months.St. Paul's, Havana will host a presentation on September 17, 2026 at 6:30pm in observation of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Pastor Wrede will recount his experience and what it looks like to serve as a pastor in the midst of tragedy.
