St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Event

Celebrating 100 years of faith, from 1926 - 2026 "God our hope in ages past Our hope for years to come".

On Sunday May 17th, 2026 at 10:00am, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (300 E. Gibson St., New Berlin IL) will be celebrating with a divine service including the holy sacrament. The guest pastor will be Pastor David Bueltmann. He is the former District President for the Central IL, District & Current pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL.

There will also be a short historical presentation of the church's history (1867-1925) highlighting artifacts and minutes from early council and congregational meetings at 11:20am. Then at 12:00pm lunch will be served in the church basement. Reservations are requested. They will be serving hamburgers, brats, potato salad, baked beans and ice cream bars.
