Please come to the School Campus at 3:30pm on February 8th. Following this, the youth and families are invited to stay and watch the Super Bowl. The game will be playing in the Parish Hall and there will be board games throughout! Voters Meeting Summary
|
The congregation's voters met on the evening of January 12. Two spending resolutions were brought forward and approved. One to increase reserves for our mortgage payment for the next 3 years, and another to bolster the general fund with unused ERTC funds (federal government COVID relief money).
Cindy Furling was re-elected to chair Property Management, Rick Koopman as member-at-large to the Administrative board, Scott Anderson to head the Stewardship Board, and Sara Schlichting to lead the strategic plan committee. Micky Reed, Joshua White, Brandon Williams, Matt Hudacek, and Alex Evans were all elected as Elders. Reports were also heard from various boards.
We still have a few vacant board positions, and three others where the current chair is looking for a replacement. If you feel called to serve as a leader at Trinity please contact President John Boehme at 217-414-0915, or find me in the narthex prior to the 8:00am service.

PLEDGES STILL NEEDED – Are you still waiting to make a commitment to the TIL-4 campaign? The last campaign had 97 pledges returned. As you can see we are still short of that amount and our goal. If you have not yet returned your pledge card you can still turn it in to the church office or put it in the offering plate. We now have $1.2 million left on our mortgage for improvements at the church and school that we are funding through this special building campaign. Please prayerfully consider how the Lord has blessed you and your family and how you can help maintain and expand His ministries at Trinity by returning your pledge card.
