Contributions Report – Thank you for your support of the Trusting In The Lord-4 capital campaign. Your contributions are greatly appreciated in providing for our $3 million in improvements at the church and school. Our remaining mortgage is down to just under $1.2 million. These funds finance our monthly mortgage payment of $17,500. Thank you again for your prayers and financial support.

St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Event

Celebrating 100 years of faith, from 1926 - 2026 "God our hope in ages past Our hope for years to come".

On Sunday May 17th, 2026 at 10:00am, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (300 E. Gibson St., New Berlin IL) will be celebrating with a divine service including the holy sacrament. The guest pastor will be Pastor David Bueltmann. He is the former District President for the Central IL, District & Current pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL.

There will also be a short historical presentation of the church's history (1867-1925) highlighting artifacts and minutes from early council and congregational meetings at 11:20am. Then at 12:00pm lunch will be served in the church basement. Reservations are requested. They will be serving hamburgers, brats, potato salad, baked beans and ice cream bars. Please RSVP by May 10th, you can call Allicent Smith at (217)341-1757.
