In place of our regular Wednesday night prayer service and Bible study, Pastor Sharp is offering a summer bible study at the Parish Hall. Beginning on June 3, Pastor Sharp will lead a study titled God’s Word in Worship: Studying the Biblical Canticles, an upcoming bible study being published by Concordia Publishing House. Through this study, we will look at the biblical canticles we sing in the Divine Service, such as the Gloria in Excelsis, This is the Feast, the Sanctus, the Magnificat, and others. We will study the biblical texts these songs are drawn from as well as their place in worship and in our lives beyond the Divine Service.
Childcare will be provided for families with children.
