515 S MacArthur Blvd, Springfield, IL 62704, USA
GriefShare: a support/recovery group for people dealing with the death of a family member or friend. GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the emotions of grief. You’ll learn what to expect and how to navigate your grief. You’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief and gain support each step of the way. Topics include managing emotions such as loneliness, anxiety, sadness, anger, and regret; coping with changes in your life and relationships; how to recognize what’s normal in grief; and what to do if you feel stuck or hopeless. At 13 weekly GriefShare meetings, you will view videos featuring counselors, teachers, and healthcare professionals on grief-related topics. You will receive a workbook filled with valuable exercises for navigating grief. Please join us Tuesdays, at Trinity Parish Hall, 515 S MacArthur, Springfield, 6-8pm. Preregistration is requested. Register at griefshare.org or if any questions contact Lori Schlosser #217-341-4582
