Youth Ministry
The purpose of Trinity’s Youth Ministry program is to nurture a generation of committed and spiritually grounded individuals who carry the torch of faith and become future leaders within the church. Trinity’s Youth Group hosts monthly lunches and devotion time with the pastor. Youth group members also enjoy annual like the weenie roast, Easter breakfast, Pack the Gym nights, youth nights at the ballpark, and trivia night.
Trinity’s Youth Ministry serves students in 5th through 12th grade. Some events are geared specifically toward high schoolers while others include all ages.

Middle School Youth Group
The Middle School Youth Group provides an opportunity for 5th through 8th graders to enjoy fun and fellowship with others their age. Activities range from service projects to exciting activities in and around Springfield, such as bowling, ice skating, and hiking. Youth are encouraged to bring non-member friends to all events! High School Youth Group
The High School Youth Group is available for all teenagers in 9th through 12th grades. This group meets monthly September through May for service and social opportunities that provide fun, creative, and engaging ways for teens to explore their faith. Every three years, our Trinity teens travel and participate in the LCMS Youth Gathering with Lutheran teens from around the country for a week of service, learning, worship, and lots of fun! Thousands of Lutheran youth and chaperones converge on one city and leave with memories that last a lifetime. The next LCMS Youth Gathering with be in New Orleans in 2025.
