School Uniforms

Trinity Lutheran School is proud to partner with a local uniform supplier, Luers on MacArthur Blvd. The school uniform dress code outlined below applies to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Trinity’s Early Childhood students do not wear school uniforms.

Approved embroidered polo shirts in maroon, black, gray, and light blue may be purchased through Luers. Solid color long sleeves in maroon, black, gray, light blue, navy, or white may be worn under short sleeve polos.

In addition to the embroidered polo shirts Trinity students may also wear t-shirts and sweatshirts displaying the approved Trinity logos. A variety of Trinity apparel is available for sale at Luers.

Uniform bottoms (pants, shorts, and solid skirts) may be purchased at any retailer of your choice. Approved bottom colors are black, gray, khaki, and navy. No cargo pants, carpenter pants, jeans, denim, or sweatpants. A plaid skirt option is also available for girls and may be purchased through Luers. Solid color leggings or tights in black, gray, khaki, navy, or white may only be worn under appropriate skirts, not on their own.

Students are to wear shoes that permit them to play safely. Closed toe shoes with a back are required. Crocs and similar shoes are not permitted.

Monday Chapel Dress Code

All students are required to wear a uniform polo shirt every Monday for chapel. This policy has been in place for the past year and is a mandatory part of our school dress code.

If a student arrives without a polo, a parent or guardian will be contacted to bring one to school, the student may be sent home to change, or they will be asked to select a polo from our Uniform Closet if one is available.

Please help your child come prepared each Monday by purchasing a uniform polo or checking our Uniform Closet for gently used options. Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and unified appearance for chapel.

Uniform Exchange Closet

Our Uniform Exchange Closet is available to all Trinity families and provides gently used uniform items to help with growing students and changing uniform needs. We offer a variety of polos, shorts, skorts, skirts, and other uniform pieces. We have also partnered with Luers for custom uniform orders if you need to purchase new items.

Closet Guidelines:

• Take what your family needs.
• Please leave all hangers in the closet.
• Place donations in the designated donation baskets.
• Donate only clean, freshly washed, and gently used uniform items.
